There is a big difference between aircraft antiskid and automotive antilock. Antiskid modulates, antilock releases.

You all miss the point .. i mean got the point. . Jazz is hiring straight out of flight college. Pilots don’t need to work the ramp at this time. Just because we had to when we started, doesn’t mean anyone else should have to. Pilots who take a ramp job or non flying job in this job climate are shoo...

In my opinion, Training bonds are a form of extortion to keep you in a job. If they want you to stay they should at least make the conditions workable and not expect you to "rest" for 3 hours at 4 in the morning in a flee ridden, bug infested, slum above a maintenance garage.

What if the job you took did not live up to the working conditions you were promised when hired?

What if they did not tell you about the "hell" runs you will be doing as the junior pilot?

I was in Ottawa a short time ago waiting to catch a Westjet flight to YYZ when some lady came up to me and asked if I was flying WJ or AC to Toronto. At first I was going to tell her to get lost since I don’t like in your face advertising but she quickly pulled out a stack of coupons for a free flig...

Apparently ours were mailed out on March 1st. We'll see when it arrives. I just don’t get why they have to wait until the last minute every year and why its always late. Still, minor stuff.

Yeah, Flair is Flightcraft. Might be some other contenders though, you never know. Also, the union dosent make any difference. Who ever gets the contract (if its not KFC) will become unionized very quickly. Furhter: The KFC union/pilots are very non militant and would operate the same way with or wi...

At KFC, you don’t require an ATPL to sit right seat, the company may waive that requirement. SOs with 300 hours may get into the right seat.

Also, the company is now looking for low time pilots, individuals who look at sitting in the SO seat as a step up rather than a step down.
