Chances are you won't see one in Canada since LSA is not a Canadian approved aircraft "class". Same logic applies to Canadian OM aircraft and the US.

Then when you graduate buy a plane and fly the crap out of it. +1 My advice would be work on the degree, fly in the summer or even better talk yourself into a work term job at one of the aerospace manufacturers. We're on our third flying dog, each about 45 lb. All three would curl up in the back almost as soon as the wheels left the ground & sleep or at least fake it but when you came into the circuit they'd want to know what was going on. That was two-up + dog so no worries about the dog wanting to be PIC....
