They are entitled to feel that way, but do they have a vagina or penis?
Don't do a google image search unless you want to be very traumatized.

That doesn't really seem much better. Does Transat have profit sharing too? That's how people are making $70k in their first year at AC.

A stall speed of 26 kts and a strong headwind must have made that a pretty cushy crash.

Thank you. I've googled it and am now up on non-binary and genderqueer peoples. Now I get what the Q stands for in LGBTQ2 stands for. Don't ask me about the 2 though.

Who exactly does ladies and gentlemen exclude? If you are a transgender woman would you not want to be called lady? Same for a transgender man. Please someone fill me in since I think I'm getting old and out of touch with society.

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

If they could be somewhere else starting their seniority do it. Never put your career on hold waiting for HR. They are notoriously heartless. The one exception I guess would be Express. You couldn't accept a position there if you were maybe in the pool at AC because that would kick you out of it.

Re: The Air Canada OTS thread

The company can assign you any position it needs to as a new hire. They try to respect seniority when possible but your first bid is not a real bid. Right now they need WB FOs.

Re: A message to all GGN Pilots from a Jazz Pilot

Jazz (ALPA that is) has to decide on a cut off date, as it would be really unfair for any new Jazz hires (coming off the street) to be over taken by GGN pilots that end up dragging their feet beyond the agreed cross over deadline. Aren't Jazz pilots from PML 1.0 are overtaking off the street pilots...

"Zero thrust" settings are usually a bit liberal since the instructor or check pilot doesn't want to die.

Transport Canada is much more fair since they ignore safety problems equally across all companies. I'm not surprised to see an African regional airline decide to set up shop here after the run Air Georgian had.

I'd imagine it is THE lowest paying WB FO job in the world. There's no where else paying the equivalent of $40k USD on wide-body aircraft including third world countries.

Re: Sault Aviatoin, is it as bad as many have posted..

But when you have a 45-55% graduation rate in their aviation program (this is posted online in the schools records) then maybe there is a reason for that. It used to be like a 15% graduation rate. They way I hear that the students complained that too many people were failing out so the school lower...

Porter's office is so sad. They have these wooden models of the C-Series all over. It must be like a constant reminder of what could have been.
