Well, i'm currently in Confed, and dont really have the time or the money to rent a float plane. I would love to do it, but there is really no way I can afford it. Right now I can hardly afford coffee. I have 25 hours on floats, and in all honesty I cant see myself picking up any more this year. Not...

I'm not afraid to work on teh dock for a season or whatever it takes...short of paying for it. 'm currently in Thunder Bay, wondering if it would be better to look around no...

This would make it easier for the ones that made it to getting a licence to find jobs.

Looking through the CAAA site, and saw that it keeps mentioning drift insurance. I'm assuming this is to cover the operator if some pesticides get onto a crop other than the one being sprayed...am I right? Flybabe, you said 500 hours was a minimum...is this an insurance requirement, or just recommen...

Hey, I heard of a kid violated (no, not by some danm fruit or queer) by the FAA for carying passengers on a student pilot permit, except they were all skydivers and one was his flight instructor who was the PIC for the climb and the last one out of the airplane, whereby the student pilot was solo. ...

i thought confed wasnt subsidized... Confed is one of the subsidized schools....thats the only way I was able to afford to get as far as I have. Right Seat Captain, I did see that list, but all of them say "selected in consultation with program faculty". I took this to mean that the staff there nom...

Chantal dear, it's only a forest fire(s). Not the second coming of Christ. Although many seem to think so, I don't walk on water...however the water bomber pilots 'skim' over the water which is almost like the same thing. More proof that pilots are gods. :D :D :D I'll apologize in advance.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I highly doubt the possibility of a mechanical failure in a firearm causing it to fire into an aircraft passing overhead. I know misfires/hangfires happen, but the person holding the firearm should have the muzzle pointed in a safe direction anyway.
