Thanks folks
I have 8 of those that I want to fly to our camp. I’ll remove the bulkhead and back seat this afternoon.
Measurements suggest it can be done. Will let you know

Morning Cessna 180 drivers
Have you ever loaded 2 by 4 eight foot length inside the plane? Don’t want to fly external load
Cheers

Re: STC for mogas required?
As far as I know, none of the existing MOGAS STC are valid if there is ethanol in the fuel and it is getting increasingly difficult to find alcohol free MOGAS....something to consider too....

Fuel used per hour
on a Cessna 180. What are you Cessna 180 owners getting? What do you normally fight plan on average per hour with an engine properly working on floats?

degrees of flap again - Cessna 180
Do you folks find it awkward to land with more than 20 degrees of flaps? I find that with more than 20 degrees, the manual flap control stick gets in the way of quickly accessing and operating the throttle and prop rpm knobs?
Do I just need to get use to it?

Re: Aviation booklet
Like someone mentioned above, you can now contact your local aviation examiner office and get an appointment. You may end up on a waiting list but they should be able to get you in soon. I was able to get mine renewed two weeks ago.

I see in the thread that an attestation of fitness can be sent to TC. Where would I send mine to? I was able to download and pen the .pdf.

Re: Medicals
Morning folks My medical is also due but I can't get an appointment here in YK until August. Is there another way to get it? Just saw this note from COPA this morning that we can do it via telemedecine? https://copanational.org/en/2020/06/04/medical-renewals-via-teleconferencing-now-possible/?utm_so...

Old avgas
Heard yesterday of an old exploration fuel cache being cleaned up.
Apparently 12 years old sealed avgas drums.
Would you folks use this in your plane?

starter
We just replaced the starter on our Cessna 180 with another used one. Working fine for now but will likely look at getting a new one later this summer.
What would you recommend? Continental O-470.
Thanks

Quick drain oil valve
You guys know of a special method to drain the oil out of a continental engine on a Cessna 180 Without removing the cowling and not make a mess? It has a quick drain valve.

Always between where the Tazin reaches the Taltson river and Hill Island Lake.
