Re: Which Canadian Airlines expect their Flight Deck Crew to also be Cabin Groomers?
I do it where I work and it's not SOP. I also do it as a passenger on other airlines. I just like getting my hand in dark, deep, (sometimes moist) places and pulling out surprises. Try it.

Re: Swoop cancels US flights due lack of approvals
1)Should be a disclaimer when booking LCC and ULCC. "You get what you pay for!"
a)The tears of those affected, brings me joy.
2)Hopefully this Swoop thing will be a failed experiment that'll roll over and die, with the routes and fins returning back to mainline.

Re: Attn: Dan Adamus
sigh. Why are you even posting about a topic you know $hit about? You don't get high from walking through a cloud of MJ smoke. You'd almost need to inhale for quite sometime for it to even register in your blood to be impaired. So I ask you, what have you done for the union and profession? I thought...

Re: Air Canada and Westjet...what a joke
Banning cannabis use among any staff is nothing short of hypocritical and grossly over correcting. While I completely agree with the ban and strongly agree cannabis, like any other state altering substance, in the wrong hands is a public danger. It, however is also a scientifically proven medicine ...

I don't think those losers can afford to lay anyone off. Kudos to the pilots for standing up!

Re: Where is this so called shortage
Could be worse. You could have 5000 hrs of king air time and not be able to get into a regional. Those licensed for less than a decade don't realize what conditions are like in a downturn. When I started many moonshines ago, it took a year just to get a ramp job, and that's after killing a small for...

Re: SWOOP OTS Captains punted from left seat...
:goodman: A lot of us have been through the ups & downs, and it is frustrating in this industry. Like the saying goes, shit skies downhill... agreed, AC IMO is to blame for a good portion, especially with the lol10 year contract. With todays environment in the pilots favor, it is my hope WS will set...

Re: SWOOP OTS Captains punted from left seat...
eyebrow guy. While I like your posting style... however, cargojet hasn't helped the industry at all. They were (still are?) the worst paying/working conditions for a cargo airline. Your C U N ext T uesday CEO helped the race to the bottom, with the aid of your pilot group. Low bidding the Purolator ...

Sooo.... why did you apply in the first place? Not know what the salary was? Hoping it would change overnight? Playing hard to get?JohnnyHotRocks wrote: ↑Thu Sep 20, 2018 8:51 pm Applied 6 weeks ago. Got the email for video interview.
5000+ hrs, jet, aviation college.
Can’t bring myself to work for that wage, so I’m out.

Doesn't sound like she stole from current employees, just those terminated were used as a shell account to steal directly from the company. Nevertheless, Ole Deluce will never see that money again.

Re: About 100 hours “short”
100 bloody hours short? Who the hell says that? Unless you're at 100TT... In this market, operators being picky? What pilot shortage? Sorry to say it's a sad excuse by the operator, and I'd move on. If they like you, 100 hours is nothing. You already paid a lot of money for your license, DO NOT buy ...

IMO this type of sensationalistic postings by pelmet is counter productive to the health and s...

Hi roadrunnersmother. I am the head recruiter for Air Georgian, Ahmend has turned your file over to me personally! As you may or may not have heard (as we try to keep our advertising to a minimum), we are indeed the best path to Air Canada. 100% of pilots at Air Canada today have journeyed through A...

Re: Huge discouragement
Hi. I'm a TFW hired by Tom to act as a pilot recruitment specialist. There is a reason "roadrunnersmother" was not hired by us. The validity of his Canadian status claim came into question regarding our bond. Roadrunnersmother claimed he/she could pay upfront through his/her Nigerian bank account. B...

Good day. I am the hiring specialist for Skylink. I wanted to clarify why we have not hired roadrunnersmother. Firstly, during our testing phase of a multiplue choice quiz, roadrunnersmother, failed to properly distinguish the differnce between a tennisball and a beach ball. Unlike other carriers, w...
