Re: Chartright Paiggio questions

The bond is only paid if you leave and it is prorated. 300 hours per year sounds better than 1000 per year Hours are irrelevant if you're stuck in your base/tied to your phone 28 days a month. I'd rather 1200 hours and have a set schedule/ reliable days off. But maybe that's why you failed to respo...

Re: Shortage real, Chartright increasing $$

Can a low timer hook up with a corporate gig within the next couple of years, somebody with about 800 to 1000 hours or do the corporates require higher time FOs? My advice to you, this would be a terrible route to go. Chartright would/will most certainly take you, as when vacancies arrise there the...

Re: Airline /regional/corporate pilots and their second side job?

I know a couple Jet Captains at Chartright with second and even third jobs, they do have a lot of free time, but also require the jobs to support families. Their jobs range from stock boys, to night janitors. Sad what sub par pay will require "Professional" jet drivers to do just to support their fa...

Re: Category 1 with past marijuana use?

I doubt that I know a pilot who hasn't smoked marijuana. Never did, never will. I'm not a degenerate and I don't believe I'm alone in this industry. Don't worry WHEN you become a pilot 95% of the people you fly with are awesome and you get to have a lot of fun with. Unfortunately like any career th...

Re: Shortage real, Chartright increasing $$

As someone who spent many years flying for chartright, 10-15% probably still keeps them below Skyservice and air sprint. I personally would rather see them improve in other areas first, more than 10 vacation days a year, rrsp benefits. Also guarantee on when you will be having days off, if you do pl...

Re: Winter Bid released today.

Ex. 1: A 5-6000 hour coprporate jet pilot, who trains every 12 months often receiving instruction from some American F.S.I. guy whose never touched the plane he's teaching, has little to no knowledge of the candidates company SOP's and flying and is solely there to check boxes and couldn't care less...

Re: Envoy air and the Americans

The Envoy Air recruitment page, starting pay up to 38$ an hour and upgrades in approx. 3 years. For a dollar less an hour and upgrades happening in less than 12 months, Canadian regionals still seem pretty decent. Did you take into account the exchange rate? Oh wow no I didn't, actually I didn't ev...

Re: Two union drives

FenceSitter, Assuming you are a WS pilot - airing out your laundry on here is in poor taste. We have two online forums to discuss these matters. BingBong, If you think that was well written then you need to finish grade 9 and prepare yourself because grade 10 is way harder. JJJ The kook-aid runs th...

Weren't you just asking about the wait time and praying for a positive outcome with Jazz like 8 months ago?
