Re: definition take off distance

I know it doesn't make sense. I'll try and copy and paste the question and answer. It's on the aerotransport.com websites questions. Basically the question asked what the takeoff distance would but didn't specify with 50ft obstacle. I'll try and post it tomorrow

Re: Hand flying

It seems like you would get rusty if you didn't shoot some approaches in IMC.also if you look at some of the airline crashes there have been some where pilots just stalled the plane. I'm wondering if this is do to lack of real flying

Hand flying

To the airline guys out there
Does the company allow you to and fly the plane in? Such as an ils approach to minimums. On videos I hardly ever see the pilot fly it in mostly always letting the auto pilot do the work. Doesn't that get you rusty

US radio call

I'm asking in case I fly to the US. In initial call to station or ground in fx Cessna 172 do they just announce aircraft type such as Cessna only or do they say 172 as well

Radio operator certficate issue time

Getting ready to solo again. Flight school told me up to a month to get ROC-A but more than likely 1 week. Once I take the test isnt that good enough or do I have to wait for certificate from Industry Canada. I started my flight training back in the 90's and I was issued an incorrect maritime certif...
