What is the going rate for a Contract Pilot on a Mid-Size Jet; say a Falcon 50 or Equivalent?

Yep, regardless of whether it's a travel day, hotel day or a flight day. Also regardless of the seat you sit in.

$1000 would be the absolute minimum. The going rate In the states (as of last week when I was chatting with a fellow who does just this type of thing) for a Falcon 900 FO seat warmer is $1500 per day plus expenses. That's US dollars. With very low taxes. Granted, that's a Falcon 900. Mid size and super mid size shouldn't be too far behind.

Last contract work I did on a Hawker was $1000 per day. That was 8-10 years ago.

What Flyer said. $1000 minimum on a mid-sized jet, plus all expenses.
