US overflight

Post by target »

Had a short notice trip on the week end that overflew America, we normally get overflight, not this weekend.
Is this happening with others out there?

The US TSA office often has limited staff working on a holiday weekend. Consider yourself lucky when you get the short notice ones approved. The official processing time the TSA office states on their website is five business days for processing your request.

My suggestion if you have some common locations you get short notice requests for with the same crew and passengers is to request your waivers to be valid for a longer validity period (up to 90 days) as they remain valid for multiple trips.
