- co-worker interaction

I am interested in this job as well. Surely there is someone out there that is willing to give us a little information?

Re: Sky Service Air Ambulance
This info is 2nd hand from a friend that worked there:
- You get to fly a lot
- Bond is pretty steep and you better stick it out
- Tiring schedule, but you get to see some interesting parts of the world
- LR45 is a nice aircraft, but a bit cramped
- Tiring schedule
- Low pay (for the type of job)
- You must live in YYZ or close to it.
Overall, I heard mixed feelings about Sky Service. The nice thing is that you get a fairly decent "warning in advanced" of a potential medevac, but you will get stuck doing crappy ones, like Toronto - Iqaluit, etc.

pays 58k left seat. Pathetically terrible, which is why there's an ad all the time.

Why would any qualified pilot even consider this job?

That Ss CP has an uphill battle and then some. At least we figured out Walmart doesn't actually have pilots restocking shelves on the road.

Re: Sky Service Air Ambulance
Do you know if mileage is attached to that 58k? There has to be something on top to hold a LR45 left seat.

Re: Sky Service Air Ambulance
Unless something has changed recently no. My friend worked there until about a year ago and never made what he did as a 1900 captain in his previous job.schnitzel2k3 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 07, 2018 5:25 amDo you know if mileage is attached to that 58k? That's only $60,000 below what it should be to start.
