End of an Era
The end of an era in Ontario aviation is coming to a close. Both of the King Air 350's with spares operated for executive travel by the MNR on behalf of the Ontario Government are up for auction.

My thoughts go out to the crews during these difficult times. However ,you can add them to the long list of corporate operators that have shut down over the past 25 years. (Mobile, Chevron;Shell,Amoco, Lmperial Oil/Esso Resours, Petro Canada to name but a few)

The writing was on the wall for many many years long before this pandemic hit the world. And thanks to the Wynne Liberal government that put the province in a survival mode it drove the last nail and Ford had to do something.I was a pilot there for 25 years and its sad to see the end of a great operation.

Does his retirement mark the end of, for example, a long series of males holding this position, as he will be replaced by a female? or something similar to that? e.g., after many xs, there will now b a y in that position?
