Finally I was referred to an ENT (ear nose and throat) specialist. he did a CAT scan and discovered that I needed surgery to drill out my sinus cavity as its very narrow and I had diseased tissue that needed to come out. I know one pilot who had this exact procedure and lost bis medical due to migraines so Im willing to try anything first.
Before we did anything he said try this, a netti pot but adding liquid Pulmicort .25MG/ML to it. this drug is a glucocorticosteriod for bronchial asthma, its supposed to be used in a nebulizer (breath it in). But added to salt water and blasted up my nose its been a silver bullet. I needed surgery, but have been doing this instead when It fires up and it works. I started doing it daily, now its only when I need it. According to my ENT there are no long therm side effects, and honestly its the only thing that seems to work for me.
Just thought I'd throw this out to anyone who is wrestling with this PITA.

I'm battling chronic sinusitis and was given the same thing as you but unfortunately it didn't seem to help. How long did you use it before you started getting relief? My sinusitis is mostly affecting my sphenoid sinuses which from what I can tell aren't easily reached by use of a netipot...
Glad you found something that works for you because I know first hand how awful chronic sinusitis is!
