Medical Category 3 - Lantern test locations

Post by Romeo11 »

Hi, I recently did my first time Medical Category 3 and apparently I have Deuteranopia (red-green color deficiency). I did the Ishihara test, and I didnt pass it. I did some of the online D15 test(http://www.color-blindness.com) and it shows that I am deuteran. I feel like I have only one option left, and that is the lantern test. I have no big problem with color, and can see red green and white fine. But, except for the University of Waterloo department of Optometry, I cant seem to find any other locations online, or in the Transport Canada website. I was wondering if any of you have an idea of the locations that offer lantern test in Ontario, in and around the GTA.

Doesn't hurt to go to an doctor and give the D-15 a shot, you may be surprised by the results.

I can't pass an Ishihara to save my soul, and was always told I'd never be a cop/pilot, etc. But when I did the D-15, I passed it.

Go try the D15 and make sure it's the desaturated version.
