Re: "Look, Ma...No hands!"
Wow. Show some respect. " Look ma no hands?" Are you kidding me ?
Who says he was really set on "showing off to his girl" etc. He was in an arishow so obviously he was showing off to the whole crowd, not just his girl. He miss judged and made an ultimate unfortnature fatal error- like humans do. .
RIP to this guy who now leaves behind his parents and his girlfriend and many others that cared about him.

Re: "Look, Ma...No hands!"
Here’s what I think. I think that’s a fine example of the sensationalist attention-grabbing headlines that currently disgrace the British media.
Airshow flying is high-risk and something went wrong during his routine. This happens sometimes and the poor pilot is an unfortunate victim of the higher risks some of us take in order to have an interesting life. It’s a tragedy that his family were there to witness it, but it can hardly be taken to be a root cause, as the idiot who wrote the headline would clearly have you believe.
This kind of headline works to sell more papers because in today’s society anyone who does anything that requires any sort of above-average acumen is a “show-off” who “deserves what he gets”, and all the sweat-pant wearing Wal-Mart shoppers that lap up this sort of social-media pap need to feel like they made the right choice by staying on the couch, so they buy into a belief system that makes them feel a sense of schadenfruede at the demise of someone who they couldn’t possibly emulate.

If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself

RIP. What a terrible thing for your parents and loved ones to have to witness.
Re: Eurofighter in Italy
He was a hell of a nice guy and a very talented pilot. My condolences.
