The story of the deaths of two congressmen...never found. Quite possibly a CFIT accident caused by trying to avoid the icing instead of caused by icing. I have flown small airplanes in the Anchorage area...you really don't want to screw around with marginal weather and if you do...you better really know what you are doing. Same for night VFR.

Seen more of these than I should have had to. Good advice pelmet. Sometimes it’s a good idea to just go have a cold beer.
