Re: Junkers Ju-52 plane Swiss Alps
First of all, my condolences to the families of the Passengers and Crew, and everyone at Ju-Air.
I have flown Ju-Air in the summer of 2016, in fact, my flight was on HB-HOT. The weather was beautiful, the crew were professional, friendly, well organized. They flew the valleys in the Alps in a very scenic, but not aggressive way (to me anyway - we were only going 90 knots or so, no steep turns, not getting too close to hills). I recall that our captain was a former Swiss AF pilot, and all in all I felt comfortable, and thrilled and very grateful at a chance to experience a ride in this aircraft. I am heart sick over this accident.
