SKY-SCARE - Breaking the Sound Barrier upon touchdown in CYQT

Narrative: A 2080061 Ontario Inc. Swearingen SA226-TC (C-GKPX) from Sioux Lookout, ON (CYXL) to Thunder Bay, ON (CYQT) attempted landing Runway 12, touchdown occurred abeam Alpha Taxiway. The aircraft aborted the landing and returned to flight near the end of Runway 12. The aircraft entered the control zone with ground speed of 270 knots and crossed the threshold of Runway 12 with ground speed 170 knots.

Actually id like to see the radar trace. The tube should have made that easy,props high, pull to nts, 215 first flap, 180? Gear, then full flap at 154? I think been at least 15 years. Must have been way way way high to poochh that one

Assuming you're not too high, you ought to be able to slow sufficiently from about three miles final. This doesn't sound like the narrative of a crew who was *only* too fast.
At least they had the gear down for their touch and go.
