The earlier thread is locked. Perhaps a mod can stick this post at the end as it gives further info of the touchdown point.....
"C-FTCJ, a privately operated Nanchang CJ6A (Yak-18) aircraft was conducting a local flight from
Victoria Int'l (CYYJ), BC with only the pilot on-board. When returning to CYYJ for landing, the pilot
was unable to move the landing gear handle from the up-position. The pilot conducted a missed
approach and following numerous unsuccessful attempts to lower the landing gear, the pilot
conducted a gear up landing on runway 21, touching down beyond the intersection of runway 32-
14. The aircraft slid past the runway threshold coming to rest in the grass approximately 200 feet
from the runway. The aircraft sustained minimal damage. The pilot was uninjured. There was no
fire. The ELT did not activate."
