Aftermath of Cessna Skyhawk’s crash on approach, Chandler, AZ May 9 2021

.

Aftermath of Cessna Skyhawk’s crash on approach to Stellar Airpark.

VIDEO: https://youtu.be/l4lJNpBb_6I

. Location, Chandler, AZ
. Time: around 8:08 pm (local) , 9 May 2021
. Injuries: Only pilot onboard taken to hospital with minor injuries.
. No Post Impact Fire.

https://flightaware.com/live/flight/N47 ... Z/KROW/P19 :
According to flight aware (link above):
. The pilot’s journey started 9 hours earlier in Addison, Texas.
. The first leg, The pilot was airborne 3 hours 22 minutes.
. The aircraft made a transient stop at Roswell, New Mexico most likely as a Fuel/pee stop.... and probably to take selfie’s overflying Roswell Incident Site <<<<< SPECULATION mixed with Humour
. The airplane was on the ground for roughly 44 minutes before departing en-route to Chandler’s Stellar Airpark, which is said to be America’s most beautiful Airpark.
. On the incident leg, The airplane was airborne for 4 hours 35 minutes before it crashed within half a mile from the Stellar Airpark.

The pilot spent more than 8 hours in the small cockpit of a Cessna, in the span of 9 hours. Cruising at 8500’ for a majour chunk of the journey.

Let’s be grateful that the aircraft was very low on fuel, maybe even almost TOO dry, and hence no fuel leaks OR post impact fire.

<QUOTE from Nay Sayers>
Let’s not speculate and jump to the conclusion that Get-There-Itis and Pilot Fatigue played any role in this event. “OBVIOUSLY” NTSB will not even remotely investigate Pilot Fatigue as a contributing Factor here.
Let’s not even start speculating if fuel had anything to do with this.

No one should try to learn something positive from this accident; it is business as usual. We should wait and see what NTSB comes up with in 12-24 months.

This Chall**ger dude must a blood thirsty piece of S*** who enjoys watching/posting YouTube Aircraft Crash videos just as a mean of self-gratification ... and it has nothing to do with education. NOTHING.

He must have had a GREAT camera. Area 51 is 690 miles away from Roswell airport.
