Looks like they had an engine failure just after rotation?
Say, what's that mountain goat doing up here in the mist?

Retard! Retard!
Re: India - King Air B200 crash caught on video March 27/201
"how do you yaw towards the live engine?"
Simple. You yank back both power levers just as the failed engine auto feathers suddenly giving you way more drag on the healthy side. I could nt really tell what happened tho, except that it went badly..

but yanking both pwr levers to idle would cancel the autofeather...somewhat equalizing the drag....still a bad scene
good video to teach why u should continue once past v1....

Torque runaway on RH side. Pilot thought LH had failed, pulled on both and RH kept going and got overwhelmed?? just a thought.

Overweight takeoff?
Everything comes in threes....
Re: India - King Air B200 crash caught on video March 27/201
What makes you think that?
Looks like they had an engine failure just after rotation?

the right prop feathering as the nose lifts off...
and @ilya, the beech afx system does not "latch" like a basler or others...
retarding the pwr levers will cancel an afx...

Dunno, I just glanced at it...rotation, airborne, yaw to the left, and thump! Fully ready to be corrected, or learn more...trey kule wrote:What makes you think that?

I'll wager the pilot stepped on the wrong rudder. That would cause a yaw into the good engine.

Think one could overpower the Rudder Boost?I'll wager the pilot stepped on the wrong rudder. That would cause a yaw into the good engine.

Pretty easy if the rudder boost system wasnt engaged prior to takeoff. Finley wrote:Think one could overpower the Rudder Boost?I'll wager the pilot stepped on the wrong rudder. That would cause a yaw into the good engine.

Can't see stepping on the wrong rudder. You'll have the urge to get your knee out of your teeth, and that's the correct rudder.cdnpilot77 wrote:Pretty easy if the rudder boost system wasnt engaged prior to takeoff. It's been a while, but it thought the rudder boost system was a function of oil pressure?cdnpilot77 wrote:

I don't recall a rudder boost 'switch'.
Furthermore, I'm certain that you could easily overpower it.
