$90k or higher.
Does anyone have an idea which turboprop captain jobs in BC pay $85-90k or more? Charter or Medevac ops. Commuting or rotational work is an option too. PM me too if you like.

Re: $90k or higher.
Have you considered Jazz. With the YVR base being junior on the Q400, you could be a captain soon if you come if you come in with your ATPL. With a day or 2 of overtime a month it’s possible make 85-90K while being a captain at Jazz in you first year.
For the charter and medieval side I don’t know much about that in BC.

Re: $90k or higher.
He asked for 90k/ y and you suggest Jazz? More like 36 K
Alkan, and NT Air pay close to that, but neither rotate you. Perhaps KBAL or Tindi, would.

Re: $90k or higher.
North Wright out of Norman Wells had a Captain's rotation and I'm pretty sure they were close or exceeding 90k.
Granted flying up there in the winter requires a very particular individual.

Yup! Try Alkan (has a YCD/ YXY base) , Air North,
Jazz ( although I’m not entirely certain and my information is second hand -feel free to correct ) I’ve heard starts at around 50k-60K for LS..when working 16-18 days a month, doing 5-7 legs per day already I wouldn’t be signing up for more OT.. ( just me though)

Contract expansion assures the need for more pilots in 2020 as opposed to some years where only attrition(low -none) accounts for pilot hiring.
Regarding the OP. First year pilots are likely to make around $70k for 116 days of work(130 day with 14 days off) give or take. One would have to be about 4th year before touching on $90k and that's not guaranteed to be a BC base.

Re: $90k or higher.
I don't think NT pays that much.
JAZZ FO's expect to make 40k in year one. Working 14-16 days a month. Thats the average. The 7 leg days out west are pretty much done. I haven't seen more than 5 legs in a day since the Q took over from the Classic fleet. I can double check, but I'm averaging 4 legs a day. The RJ does less legs, but then you're sitting for longer legs. Not for me. But to each their own!

Re: $90k or higher.
Salary? No. It’s within spitting distance of it though before any extras 15 days a month.
Unfortunately, it looks like four of us are going to be camped up top for the foreseeable future unless more contracts and airplanes come in.
Geez did I say that....? Or just think it....?
