"415 Pilots wanted". Amazing what happens when you privatize a company, cut wages and benefits, and now increase the days they want you to work...

They over promise and under deliver. Everyone makes their own deal and there is no job security. Not hearing many good things these days about AS. CONAIR has a better reputation with a union. If you have a choice I would start there. Last I heard AS might be up for sale.

Indeed. With Ontario, Quebec, Conair, and Airspray all having been looking for pilots this year, this would be the time to band together in Manitoba, and certify..

What is the source of that rumour?
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Re: Airspray
Babcock apparently has been looking to buy Airspray or. Take it for what it is this it’sa rumour network. Since Babcock is not a Canadian company they need to get their foot in the door somehow. Manitoba is familiar with a union since MGAS has a collective agreement.
