Avionics Technician – E License - Permanent - Montreal

Job Responsibilities
• Adhere to company policies and procedures;
• Engaged in the servicing, trouble-shooting, maintenance, repair, modification, installation and functional testing of all types of radio, radar, cabin management and other types of navigation systems and equipment;
• Ensure tasks are completed correctly and paperwork signed;
• Ensure test equipment serviceability and calibrations are maintained;
• complete repairs, overhauls and inspections on aircraft or in avionics shop;
• Participate/comply with 6S and SMS activities/training;
• Maintain aircraft in airworthy condition for on-schedule departures;
• Complete all work order entries in a timely fashion;
• Administer MSP/Smart Parts/Warranty (review and validate information);
• Participate with scheduled heavy maintenance;
• Provide AOG support when required;
• Carry out modifications and repairs on avionics, electrical and electromechanical systems;
• Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshoot systems;
• Maintenance and repair aircraft avionics and related systems;
• Order the necessary parts;
• Assist other trades for electrical or/and avionics interface;
• Read, understand and apply engineering instructive and drawings;
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Maintenance Manager, Director of Maintenance;
• May be required to certify avionics installation using company issued ACA when required;
• Be available to travel in support of customer aircraft.

Requirements:
• Must hold an AME-E license;
• Must have a thorough knowledge of AC-DC electronic theory, aircraft audio systems, communication and navigation equipment;
• 5 years experience in a similar position
• Bilingual (English and French)
