Covid Jobhunt: To send resumes or to wait until things settle down ?
I am a flight instructor with just under 850 Hrs and a group1 IFR. I totally understand how bad the industry is right now and that nobody would hire guys like me when we have much experienced pilots looking for jobs.. but still, this brings me into a dilemma. Do I just accept the reality and stop sending my resumes out ? Or do I still send out resumes to companies ? Seniors please guide !

I would say send them anyways, you dont really have any opportunities for any 705 jobs but with that amount of hours it might look good up north somewhere. Keep trying! Good luck

Yeah I said the same thing too. Although, the most fun I ever had, with a solid group of guys, was living on a reserve. Flew our bags off and had some awesome parties.Thank you Very Much ! Will do ! And I don't have any 705 dreams at all :/ a turbine or a multi and I will be happy

What's the dilemma? Just send them out. You don't risk anything and in 6 months you can say "I've been trying to get in with you guys for months" which sounds good in an interview.
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship
