Post by b737joe »

So...

Seen the ad a couple times now - have inquired. They're not interested in part time pilots even typed.

Any other info on GCS?

Minimum TT 5000 hours, PIC 2000, Multi IFR 1000.
Wow! It sure didn't take long for those minimums to creep up to 1982 levels.

Am I disconnected from reality for thinking theres no 5,000hr guys willing to relocate to fly a ka90 or navajo for multiple years? Assuming they're looking for someone long term and would require signing on for a couple years?

dont like it don't apply. you don't think there is a westjet pilot who lives in Airdrie who's not expecting a call back for a couple of years?

Seems like for a company with two pilots they post more often then they should for pilot opportunities. Should be enough of a red flag.
