How's the work schedule on the ramp?

Post by dALre »

Like the title says how the shifts are?

Heard that one of the regionals ramp guy works 7on/7off 12hrs weekday, 10hrs weekend = 160hrs a month and some overtime.

Is this kinda regular shift for the ramp?
Any thought?

Thank you

Lots of different rotations depending where you work. Do you know specifically where you are going to apply?

Perimeter in YWG used to be 7 on 7 off, i think they’ve gone to a different schedule now (ie Mon-Fri 9-5)
In YXL they do Mon-Fri 9-5 to work counter.

Skycare’s night dispatch works something like 7 nights in a row and fly 4 days as Navajo FO (once you’re done the PCC which doesn’t happen right away, and assuming they keep their promise), then 3 days off…
They’re actually pretty honest in the ad, it’s first and foremost a ground position.

Got the skycare schedule a bit mixed up there, it’s a 2 week cycle.
When you’re just starting out it’s one week of night dispatch and one week off.
When you get checked out on the navajo you have 3 days off, flying 4 days then 7 days of night dispatch.
