Under the supervision of the CEO, the primary role of the Charter Sales Manager is to ensure the successful execution of sales and service strategies with the company's charter customers.

As an integral part of the Management Leadership Team, your responsibilities include:

Oversee the daily operations of charter sales and direct staff in striving to exceed the achievement of sales and profit goals.
Maintain record of prospects, leads, customer contacts, wins and losses and report regularly to the CEO.
Recommend potential revenue generating opportunities within the company's current book of business and develop business models to address opportunities as they arise.
Ensure that payment of invoices occur in a timely manner.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of market data, customer needs, and market/industry conditions as well as trends to assist with providing strategic recommendations to leadership.
Identify and recommend sub-charters when fleet aircraft are not available.
Financial

Through collaboration with the CEO and other departments, provide input into the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasting processes and regularly advise of any deviations.
Responsible to plan, monitor and control expenditures within the budget.
Relationship Management

Assist with the development and implementation of a corporate customer relationship management program, including regular communications with customers.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key clients to stay informed of their business requirements, and with vendors, suppliers, and internal partners.
Assess staffing needs and build a collaborative, motivated and successful team that will be connected to other departments and positively reflect company culture in the marketplace.
General Responsibilities

Participate in the development and implementation of company short- and long-term marketing plans and objectives through analyzing revenues, flying hours, utilization, routing, schedules, and financial performance.
Review fares, tariffs and other pricing structures and participate in the development and implementation of a pricing strategy.
Participate in special projects as required.
Ensure work unit processes and procedures are deployed and monitored for efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications

Skills, knowledge, and abilities include:
Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position include a post- secondary degree in business administration, marketing, or related discipline with a minimum 5 years' progressive management experience in sales, business development or marketing. Corporate aviation experience in charters is preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Sound problem solving, decision-making, analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
Proven relationship management/customer service skills with demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with internal and external customers.
Strong leadership skills and a hands-on, self-motivated, and demonstrated positive, can-do attitude.
Professional judgement in handling sensitive situations with tact, diplomacy, and high ethical standards.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize.
Demonstrated research skills, with sound market knowledge and ability to negotiate.
Demonstrated ability to develop programs and plans aimed at positively influencing customer loyalty and financial performance.
