Fast Now.

The last guys to get upgraded had a bad wait. Nearly 5 years. The new SO's that were hired will probably make it in around 12-18 months. Moving nicely now. It's a good company and worth the wait. Pay for SO is more than most FO's make which mitigates the wait.

Hey KFC pilot- seems like a great company to work for - years ago thought it would be my dream job - got a call from your CP late last week, invited me for an interview this tues 16th in YHM- got lots of details from him re sched etc, but have had to say can't make the interview (can't believe I had to do it  ) due to work requirements, asked if could please keep me in mind if they do further hiring - What do you think the odds are that A) there will be more hiring and B) the CP would call me the next time? I basically said would love to work for them, but had current commitments that I had to deal with
Any input would be appreciated, PM me if thats better.

Add another 8K and you've got the starting salary. 28K is a tad off.

Can anyone confirm the upgrade time from second officer??? Is it really still 5 years, or is 12 - 18 months now more accurate?

It could be a year, or five, jsut depends on movement. AC takes a lot of our guys, Harmony and the rest also. When there is movement in the indusrty we are the first to lose guys.
