How are things looking for this winter?
I've been looking for a first officer post in Calgary for a few months now after I upgraded to my ATP this summer. No luck so far but its been hard for me to get out there since I'm a busy instructor in northern Alberta. I've got 1700hrs and only a handful of Multi PIC. I've also got a BE20 PCC. What do you think my chances are at finding good work in Calgary this winter? I want to find a good company to work for for a long time I'm almost 30 and I want to have a family one day. I'd be greatful for any suggestions or opinions.

Give North Cariboo a shout and send in your resume.

Thanks! I've already been to visit them but they are on my list again.
How often is too often to send in a new resume? 6 months?? Doesnt the squeaky wheel get the grease

Friend you read my mind.B-rad wrote:Whats wrong with flight instructing in Calgary? get yourself close and ear to the train tracks for when that position is ready. A lot to be said for the guy who'd fit in that much easier.
Anyone have an opinion of whos a really good company in Calgary?

Try Sunwest. Its a good spot, you'll fly lots and in the long run the money isn't bad either. I saw F/O spots advertised on here very recently.
