I used to work for them. Good company, good pay. Crew chiefs and DOM are great. When I was there there were quite a bit of apprentices compared to ame's, which I wasn't fond of but maint was always well performed. The shift was 7 on, 7 off, 2100-0900. You'd get one week of days every 3 months.

What killed me was the town. "Social problems" galore if you get my drift ;) You better like outdoor bush type activities, 'cause there isn't much else to do....and with stretches of 7 days off, you'd better have some hobbies you can do up there besides drink :)

Thanks for the feed back. I heard they were pretty stable too. As in....don't get that much lay off threats. I talked to the hiring manager over there and man is he one generous guy. Classy act. I'm from out of town and basically he told me i can start whenever i want......don't meet these kind of hiring managers that often eh??? hehe.

Anybody else? have any info? experience with calm air? mind sharing? thanks.
