1st year FO 43.5k
2nd 47.5k
3rd 55k
That's base salary.
You can opt out of benefits. You can opt out if RRSP match.
3$/hr perdiem away from base.
So... whatever Ont. Taxes are... there's your take home
Does that help?

Re: Take home
Yeah thanks how much pier diems and over time could a new guy expect. I've heard there upgrading in less than a year now as well. I'd be coming in with 6000plus hours mostly multi pic but none of the 705 heavy time they want for DEC
Re: Take home
Unfortunately you're subject to the seniority gods.
As of today....were fully rostered.
So not much opportunity for OT.
Per diem depending on schedule could be 300 to 1000 a month.
Apply for DEC anyway. Ya never know

FO salaries have done down. Hourly rates have gone up but the monthly guarantee has gone down. Works out to 42.2K, 46.2K and 53.8K for years 1, 2 and 3 respectively.
Captain salary basically unchanged or slightly improved.

Re: Take home
For proof that I fit with company culture do I just let them know I rent out my moms basement and know how to make 7 variations of KD so I don’t get bored eating it each day of the week?

Re: Take home
Is there any hiring going on? Are there any DEC vacancies available? What is the junior captain's DOH?
Re: Take home
Someone asked for current scales so that they could make an informed decision, someone replied.
People love to whine but offer no real solutions.
Remember that you chose this profession knowing the sacrifices that come with it; and if not, then I truly feel bad for you!
No one is forcing you to stay in aviation, if you feel the pay is not worth the investment, than all the best in your future endeavors.

…a year 1 Training Captain gets $100 per calendar day (except splitduty), a year 7+ ACP gets $200. Various $25 steps inbetween.
