SIM is usually held in Edmonton.

From start of ground school to line indoc, you can expect the process to be roughly 6-8 weeks. Salary starts on day 1 of ground school.

First year FO's start at $56k
First year Captains start at $93k

Benefits after 3 months, eligible for company contributed pension after 1 year. We do have a 2 year training bond, which is a promissory note. This means no money exchanges hands, but the amount is reduced every month worked and should you leave early, the amount outstanding would be owed. There is a staff travel program, standby for you and your immediate family plus one buddy on all Flair flights. No jumpseat agreements, yet.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to DM or give me a call (250-807-5467).

It's unreal that a Low Cost Carrier pays their F/Os more than Jazz, Encore, Sky and Porter. Jesus!

It really is a disgrace and I'm ashamed to be one of those individuals that accepts this salary. Not for long though. I'm actively looking for better employment. This is outrageous. This is $10,000 a year more than minimum wage Tim Hortons employee make; to fly an aircraft full of people. We all deserve more. Every pilot flying for a regional carrier is at leat $20K UNDERPAID.

Actually, tim hortons employees make minimum wage, which comes out to about 22900 per year on a 40 hour per week shift.

Absolutely agree with you. I am also looking to quit and never fly the flag again.

Which makes sense, the pay is a little low for flying a B737, so they are probably worried people are going to just get the type, enough hours on type and jump to a better paying job.

Isn't too bad if you can go direct to capt, 90k for 2 years wouldn't be the worst stepping stone.

Perhaps I’m missing something? Doesn’t Flair fly 737’s? I would expect them to pay more than someone flying Q400’s or Emb175’s.

superchargedBS once advised:

"To fly a 15 MILLION USD jet with 100 people aboard, starting wage needs to be 100kUSD STARTING, and by that I mean clean per the CBA."

That is $123 311 CDN as of today. "Clean". I assume that means after tax? Over 10k a month in your pocket in Canada to fly an RJ?

But the wind must have shifted today and superchargedBS must have got swoop fever.

According to superchargedBS today one can be a 737 captain for 90k (before tax) and it's not the worst stepping stone. Isn't even too bad. Leave 66k on the table over two years and take your valuable 737 classic rating to the next high paying job. Where is that job superchargedBS?

One more piece of advice from superchargedBS:

" you lack the mental hardware to make it anyways, just put a app into Timmys now."

Wrong you are superchargedBS. My colleagues voted me sandwich artist of the month. AGAIN!

Canjet paid their new Captains $85,000 fifteen years ago, it was bad then, $90,000 is terrible now with the cost of living in those cities.

Where you made a mistake in your analysis, is where you inserted a f' where I didn't give one.

I don't neither fly for an airline nor do I make that little.

So swoop fever? Nah bro, the job is too mindless and the pay too low for me.
I just see how people would use that as a stepping stone for a proper job and thus the reason they want to hold your money hostage to keep you from leaving.

Website only mentions First Officer positions. No DEC then?
