I was in the assessment early May and got am in got VFR. Anyone else!?

I remember they said there were far more IFR spots than VFR spots. Congrats on the VFR offer though and lucky you, you'll get to see those planes through the big windows!

Also I was wondering if anyone wants to make a Slack group to discuss the pre-course material they've sent out? If that's a good idea, feel free to PM me and I'll drop you an invite link.

I also got a spot for IFR. A Slack or WhatsApp group for the pre-course is a top notch idea!

Anyone with a standby offer?

Anyone with info on how many standby offers they'd typically send out? And the odds of a confirmed offer after a stand-by one?

Only a few standby are made, just in case a confirmed says no.

Some courses have a few from the standby list, some have none. Your odds basically depend on how eager the people with a confirmed offer are.
