Re: YYZ Assessment (Feb 2019)
Congrats on the boot camp invite everyone! Anyone else attending the May2nd/3rd session?
Also, any ideas on what the two days include? I assume part interview, part assessment of some kind. Hard to imagine how that fills two days though.

Re: YYZ Assessment (Feb 2019)
For those of you who attended today's boot camp session, could you kindly let me know if you had your interviews today or if you have it on the 2nd day?
My workday site says that we will be given study materials on the 1st day instead of the 2nd day.
I'd like to know so that I know when to wear my interview attire.
Thanks and good luck tomorrow as well!

Safe to assume that day one is interviews.
Even safer to assume that you can dress dapper both days

I'm surprised that there's complete radio silence. Session 2 starts tomorrow and nobody is discussing what happened.
Is there an NDA?

Just got a call this afternoon and got offered a training seat for IFR starting end of August. Anyone else?

I assume that you weren't in the most recent selection process?

I attended the April 30 / May 1 session and also got a call yesterday regarding an IFR offer. Workday is also updated.
Hope to see some of you peeps at the course!

Re: YYZ Assessment (Feb 2019)
My phone was switched off yesterday, but I am not too hopeful.
Would've probably gotten a voicemail or a change in myworkday if I made it.
Congrats everyone who did make it.
edit: What date did everyone who got the offer attend? Apr 30/May 1? Or other sessions as well?
edit2: Alternatively, has anyone heard from them yet that they haven't made it?

Hello if you may answer few questions please:
1- what was the two day boot-camp like ?
2- was there a specific way you prepared for the FEAST test?
3- is the online assesssmesnt similar to the feast test?
4- was w-sim apart of your first feast test or was it apart of the boot camp testing?
Thank you

Re: YYZ Assessment (Feb 2019)
From what I heard from the last group, they were expecting the end of June at the earliest for a call back, so I am surprised to see people get offers one week after the last selection process.atcthrowawayyy wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2019 9:38 am My phone was switched off yesterday, but I am not too hopeful.

Re: YYZ Assessment (Feb 2019)
I was part of the first group and didn’t expect to hear anything for at least another 3 weeks but happily surprised. They said they would let us know either way, or even if we fell into the waiting category or another year.
Time to get those security checks, medical, drug tests, and the introductory course. Lots to do still.

FEAST does not use W-Sim.
You won't get any answers otherwise though because Nav Canada is serious about their assessment privacy.

Re: YYZ Assessment (Feb 2019)
I suspect the rest of us who didn't get an offer will be notified by a mass email.
i.e. offer = call, no offer = email.

Re: YYZ Assessment (Feb 2019)
This better not be a cruel joke being played on me, as I have been heavily emotionally involved in this process for the past month.
My workday profile now has changed from Interview to Eligible for Offer. (Does that mean I am on standby?)
