Here you go. 10x is perhaps another statistic, but here's the UK.
Alpha v. Delta
Look at "exclusion" cases... "inclusion" includes people that aren't at the hospital for covid but are discovered to have covid when there.
5.4% v. 3.5% of cases visited a healthcare provider.
54% higher rate for a medical visit Alpha v. Delta
2.0% v. 1.0 of cases were admitted overnight.
100% higher rate for a hospital overnight Alpha v. Delta
1.1% v. 0.2% of cases resulted in death.
550% higher rate of death with Alpha v. Delta

Here's Delta based on vaccination status.
Re: Canada to mandate vaccination for all airline workers
It doesn't show the claimed statistic (alpha vs delta for unvaccinated).
Re: Canada to mandate vaccination for all airline workers
I didn't claim any statistic. I showed you the actual data and statistics published by Public Health in the UK.
If you're looking for something else you'll have to go find it yourself.
Interesting that of 300,010 Delta cases in the UK, 151,054 (50.3%) are among unvaccinated individuals.
Of 151,054 unvaccinated Delta cases, 253 (0.1%) died.
Of 148,956 various levels of vaccinated Delta cases, 488 (0.3%) died.
Of 47,008 fully vaccinated Delta cases, 402 (0.8%) died.
Seems to go against conventional thought here...

We were discussing hospitalisation rate of alpha vs delta, which your data doesn't give. If you want to figure it out, go ahead. I Provided a peer reviewed article which does give the data for Scotland.
Yes, it's odd. Maybe a lot of vaccinated people aren't getting tested.Interesting that of 300,010 Delta cases in the UK, 151,054 (50.3%) are among unvaccinated individuals.

Re: Canada to mandate vaccination for all airline workers
Pretty sure it does... maybe take another look.
Table 4. Attendance to emergency care and deaths of confirmed and provisional cases in England (1 February 2021 to 2 August 2021)
I could see that.... That there are in fact even more breakthrough cases spreading among the vaccinated than acknowledged that would lower the vaccinated death rate to more closely resemble the unvaccinated death rate. ie. a comparable rate across the population regardless of vaccination status. Number of breakthrough cases asking fully vaccinated would have to nearly triple though to match unvaccinated death rate.
Re: Canada to mandate vaccination for all airline workers
94% of English adults have antibodies to covid-19 now, through a combination of prior infection and vaccination:altiplano wrote: ↑Mon Aug 16, 2021 12:40 pmPretty sure it does... maybe take another look.

So both are likely causing this, rather than delta being less harmful.
Re: Canada to mandate vaccination for all airline workers
Interesting.
I would expect to see similar numbers in Canada.
I wonder if the unvaccinated with antibodies are spreading the virus like the vaccinated are?
94% and yet we're pushing for forced vaccinations under threat of personal ruin?
What's the government goal here again?

Because some of us get our information from other than the CBC....

Guide for Aviation Medical Examiners
Pharmaceuticals (Therapeutic Medications)
Do Not Issue - Do Not Fly
The information in this section is provided to advise Aviation Medical Examiners (AMEs) about two medication issues:
Medications for which they should not issue (DNI) applicants without clearance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), AND
Medications for which for which they should advise airmen to not fly (DNF) and provide additional safety information to the applicant.
The lists of medications in this section are not meant to be all-inclusive or comprehensive, but rather address the most common concerns.
For any medication, the AME should ascertain for what condition the medication is being used, how long, frequency, and any side effects of the medication. The safety impact of the underlying condition should also be considered. If there are any questions, please call the Regional Flight Surgeon's (RFS) office or the Aerospace Medicine Certification Division (AMCD).
Do Not Issue. AMEs should not issue airmen medical certificates to applicants who are using these classes of medications or medications.
FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved less than 12 months ago. The FAA generally requires at least one-year of post-marketing experience with a new drug before consideration for aeromedical certification purposes. This observation period allows time for uncommon, but aeromedically significant, adverse effects to manifest themselves. Contact either your Regional Flight Surgeon or AMCD for guidance on specific applicants or to request consideration for a particular medication.

Not sure what the point of posting that was, but the FAA specifically allows pilots to fly after covid vaccines, providing a 48-hour no fly/no safety duties period is observed:blasted off wrote: ↑Tue Aug 17, 2021 6:28 pm Guide for Aviation Medical Examiners

Yeah well, maybe that’s because vaccination priority went to the old and fragile population first. The numbers don't support your "yeah well maybe that's because" supposition...
205 (0.1%) of 151,054 unvaccinated cases over 50 years old died with Delta.
389 (0. of 47,008 fully vaccinated cases over 50 years old died with Delta.
So over 50 years old, an 8X higher death for Delta cases in fully vaccinated versus unvaccinated individuals.
