RCMP

Post by Launchpad1 »

So apparently the RCMP union has said that it totally backs the rights of it's members to not be vaccinated. They said they will also defend the rights of any Mountie that has their job threatened due to not being vaccinated!

Can you believe that. So the rest of us have to be vaccinated to work in our careers but the cops are ok to just not bother. I hope the government has some harsh words for the RCMP union.

And in the same day, the TTC union reversed its message to members and told them to send management their vaccine status.

The world is a confusing place today

The Peel Police that work at YYZ also get to renew their RAIC while they are on paid duty. They get to walk to the front of the line for that reason while the rest of us line up at 6am and stand in line until noon on our day off.

If the vaccine work; the unvaccinated shouldn't be a threat to the vaccinated.

I'm not anti vax or anti science.

Yellow fever vaccine stop yellow fever, right?

C19 vaccine doesn't stop C19 so what do we do?

This nonsense has been so thoroughly refuted so often, that I find myself embarrassed for anyone dumb enough to repeat it.

Your above statement suggests otherwise.
Pendejo wrote: Wed Sep 29, 2021 7:18 pm Yellow fever vaccine stop yellow fever, right?
I'm not familiar with the data on the yellow fever vaccine, although I did receive the vaccine for travel some years ago. Maybe if you have data and think it's somehow relevant, you could go ahead and present it.
Pendejo wrote: Wed Sep 29, 2021 7:18 pm C19 vaccine doesn't stop C19 so what do we do?
That must explain why the overwhelming majority of people in hospital with COVID are unvaccinated, despite the fact that they make up a minority of the population.

School teachers too. They don’t have to be vaccinated at least in my area. They have a very powerful union.

Ontario is doing great! We have less freedumbs, lots of people will be staying home... But risk of covid is very low. ICU capacity of covid cases is 25 percent of last winter. We all good here. Covid risk is near zero for vaccinated only problem is we can't change what we are doing or we be like Berta. Oh no no no. Don't want to be Berta. Basically the message is this. Our solution to covid is always live how the government tells you or cases going to pop and destroy the health system. New normal!

The Beer Store union is fighting the corporate vaccine policy. It's more than just the RCMP. Lots of other companies employees and unions are pushing back against the vacancies. But sure just pick on the RCMP.

The vaccine stops the serious consequences of a COVID infection, i.e. no ICU, no death.

I don't know if you understand Spanish, but don't try so hard to live up to your name.

There should be an immunity passport similar to Israel NOT a vaccine passport. There should also been a time limit set on these measures … ( however, we not the social credit system is the goal here not “ safety.”

Since when does natural immunity not count ? Where’s the science in that?

82% of Quebecois are fully vaccinated.

Your argument is that because 18% of the population accounts for nearly 50% of hospitalizations, that the 82% are the suckers?

You're a smart one, you.

Since natural immunity was found to have decreased significantly beyond a few months (https://www.bmj.com/content/373/bmj.n1605)

"If you've had COVID-19 before, does your natural immunity work better than a vaccine?
The data is clear: Natural immunity is not better. The COVID-19 vaccines create more effective and longer-lasting immunity than natural immunity from infection.
More than a third of COVID-19 infections result in zero protective antibodies
Natural immunity fades faster than vaccine immunity
Natural immunity alone is less than half as effective than natural immunity plus vaccination"

Well in Israel you're going to be "unvaxxed" if you only have 2 shots soon. So I figure in a couple months 98% of the people on this site will be considered unvaccinated.

Line up for your next booster! Mooooooooooo

What province? I haven’t been asked in Ontario beer stores. It’s supposed to only be for restaurants and sporting events since the WuFlu doesn’t exist in grocery/liquor stores or Costco.
