How about, instead of labeling this lady as an anti-vaxxer, which according to the article she "was on the fence", not against vaccines. You could promote the vaccine in a different light.
Posting like that with a divisive title that labels this individual into a group identity like it does, is just naive, childish, and down right dangerous.
Every single atrocity of the 20th Century was driven by Identity Politics, Nazism, Communism, Facism. Well over 100 million lives were lost because of the divisive nature of labelling someone.
We're all frustrated with what's going on. There's a lot of uncertainty with everything at the moment and it's stressful times for all. But let's not take it out on individuals who think differently.
This is a warning to all Canadians, the divisiveness of everything happening at the moment is a massive destabilising force for our society. One would be prudent to go to great lengths to avoid venting our frustrations publicly right now.
if you open a truthful history book of many of the atrocious events that took place over the past 100 or so years you will find a similar societal problem of identity politics at the forefront. Labeling individuals, grouping individuals, dehumanizing individuals. It never ends well.
Canada was built on individualism, not collectivism. This is why we've all grown up in one of the greatest countries in the World. However over the past decade we have been led down a dangerous path.
However bad you think Covid is, and I know it's a terrible disease for some, what could come of the kind of behaviour that is becoming more prevalent day by day, could be far worse.
Instead of attacking one another, why don't we try to encourage one another. Don't label someone an anti-vaxxer, it won't get anywhere except push them further away.
It's imperative we all try to step back, think about things and search for truth. Trying to force ones opinions on one another never works well.
I think it's important to remember, none of us want to catch covid, we just want things to go back to how things were prior to the Covid 19 pandemic. I for one hope that can be possible someday soon.

Saul Torres once went as far as to call COVID-19 a lie that was drummed up by the government. It's something his family agreed on until the virus ran rampant through their home and put Torres in the hospital.
He considers himself lucky to be alive but is reminding others they may not end up as lucky.
