If only life was as simple as the way you make it out to be Pelmet. How many more obituaries would you like me to post of the thousands who have succumb to the vaccine. It is obviously massively less than the virus itself, but it is not an insignificant amount.

In fairness, the anti-vax crowd are the poster-children for anecdotes: look at all the "my neighbour's cousin's dog-sitter got vaccinated and his penis dropped off / miscarried / died of heart disease / had a stroke / became infertile / all of the above" stories being pushed.

Didn't we have a thread about three BA pilots who all died in mysterious circumstances after getting vaccinated, one of whom fell off his bicycle? Or did we forget all about how it was 100% certain pilots would be dropping out of the skies, and have we now moved on?

According to the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Wilson is just the fourth person in the U.S. to die from the rare vaccine complication.

And how many people have died from COVID. Also, for clarity, the vaccine that she received was the J&J.

I'm not anti-vax in general but I am suspicious of rushed vaccines. I planned to wait out the vaccine stuff when it first came out until I heard more about the UK variant. Then I weighed the pro's and cons. My sister got sick in 2020 and claims she has longhaul with heart issues. I had already decided that I wasn't taking the risk. Unlikely to die if I get the virus but quite possible to be a longhauler. Now we have the Delta version.

They are learning more about why even mild cases(and asymptomatic cases) result in longhaul as seen below. Therefore, the discussion about death in this forum is irrelevant. It is about having to deal with long term health issues, no matter how mild your case was. Who needs it....it just aint worth it.
