Any way to fix the banner ad covering the drop down menu for new posts? Somehow make it so the banner is always in the background.

That's easy.

Delete your bookmark to the login page. Then login. Flip your phone around until you can get to new posts (mine works in landscape), and then bookmark the new posts page. Then use that bookmark to login.
