Changing wmv to gif, and shrinking the size for an avatar

Post by . ._ »

Hey folks!

I have a nifty little bit of footage I want to use as an avatar. It's a wmv file.

The thing is, I have to figure out how to get a wmv file down to 125x125 and loop it and throw it on photobucket.

I've tried some free trial converters, but they won't let me save it as a gif or whatever.

Basically I need step by step instructions, not being a computer savant and all.

C'mon men! Help a brother out!

That's great! Thanks.

I almost want to buy it, but there must be some kind of open source version of this thing.

I'm still taking suggestions.

BTW, you have unleashed the dragon.
