Nice. It still has the liquid cooled engine. AQB was registered to A. Fecteau of Senneterre PQ on February 26, 1943. In May of 1950 the Junkers L5 liquid cooled Engine was replaced with a P&W Wasp engine.

I took this picture of what I think are the remains of a Junkers in Ear Falls in 1978. I believe this plane crashed around Uchi Lake. Don't know what became of these parts and don't know any further history of the accident.

This photograph was taken in 2016 of a display that was located in the
Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada in Winnipeg.

The display had the following information below the photo:
Junkers W33 CF-AQW at Stevenson Field in Winnipeg.
Feb 24, 1932.

I've found out a little more info on the photo of Junkers remains I posted above. This was CF-AQV that crashed near Ear Falls on Sept 1-1939. It was dragged to Ear Falls by a resident and traded to the WCAM in Winnipeg. Here is a photo of CF-AQV in better days.

The pic shows 2 Fokker Super Universals and 2 Junkers W34.
My best guess is the pic shows the Canadian Airways base at Goldpines near Ear Falls, ON.

The window for the date of the photo is quite narrow. Fokker Super Universal CF-ATW was taken on strength on November 21, 1932. My notes says the owner was Mackenzie Air Service of Winnipeg. Not sure about the Winnipeg angle. Doesn’t add up. ATW was written off on April 20, 1934 at Cambridge Bay, NWT. So therefore the photo must have been taken in 1933.

Can you still get it? That is a unique photo in my opinion. Especially from c1933. Maybe there is info on the back of the photo.

I believe the top Junkers W34 in the photo is CF-ARI. It was written off in January 1940 just south of Ft. McMurray.
