The story of Buffalo Joe
Hello folks, Im Per from Sweden, a big fan of Ice Pilots and Buffalo Air.
Now im back in the school and try working my english to be better.
And when im a big fan of Buffalo a good idea can be to read about Buffalo
an learn how that company come to be real.
I have just read the book, i have buy a hat and 2 shirts,
have see many of the episodes many times.
But i wish i find a page to read the complete story of how all thing starts.
Maybe something you will help me with?

When you say you have "read the book" were you talking about the one by Daniel Cattoni ? If not this book is available on Amazon. I have not read it so I can't comment on its quality.Pe4r wrote:

Or maybe you mean "The Ice Pilots" by Michael Vlessides, published by D&M Publishers.
Some information there about Joe's early years, though most of the book is about the current company.

"Wings above the Arctic" is another great book about bush flying in the Canadian North. There is a small piece about Buffalo in the book as well as stories about other great Arctic aviators. It's mostly a photobook but has some interesting stories and is an easy read for someone learning English.
