Ladies and Gents
Looking for referals regarding good books on the topic of flying floats and general bush operations. I am looking to gain as much knowledge as possible about the float world before jumping right in. And yes I understand that you cant learn everything from a book, just looking at getting the most out of endevours. any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bush Pilot by Pierre Rivest
The techniques, advices and concepts proposed in "Bush Pilot" are the results of over 15 years of flying activities in the bush, to which observations, flight instructions and studies in this particular sector of civil aviation were added. It does not answer all the questions, no book does; but at least, it is hoped that "Bush Pilot" will arouse enough curiosity to permit new and more experienced seaplane and skiplane pilots, private as well as commercial, to avoid traps which are too easy to fall into.

No numbered runways and Flights of a coast dog.. More for the stories and lingo and general interest than actual tips.

You're not going to learn anything important by reading books, float flying is a learn by doing type of thing.
