Resumes, Gov't Agencies and returning to the "Bush"

It's been a while since I've had to put together some sort of resume for any Canadian air service...
Anyone care to share any good "templates" for sorting hours (I have numerous different types in my log book, but want to highlight those that are applicable to the job, of course)...
Or care to share any "success" stories with resumes?

Now... tackling the "cover letter" (another story)...

Any advice or tips are much appreciated !
