Thx

I do not know if this helps or if it is current information.

I googled the following - Norseman accident CF-ECG
On the google page I clicked on - Old Norseman finds new home.

An article from The Underground Press published on Nov 10, 2011
came up and it has a report on Norseman CF-ECG being donated
to the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum in Brandon, Manitoba.

The report says the aircraft will not fly again.

Check out the story. It is lengthly but may provide the information
you are looking for.

Too bad, there's a lot of history in that old airplane. I first saw it with Labrador Mining in the early 1960's.

I flew both ECD and ECE when they were owned by Parsons Airways in Kenora and leased by Parsons Airways Northern in Flin Flon and Lynn Lake.

Oldtimer I have a couple of pictures of ECG taken by Bert Huneault in 1949. At the time Bert was a weatherman for CP Air, based at Ashuanipi Lake in western Labrador, and the airplane used to be in and out of the site working for Hollinger Ungava Transport. I'll post them from my home computer when I get a chance.

Great shots squawk. It's a pity Lloyd's pictures and films remain unavailable. Here's another shot of ECG, taken by Bert Huneault at Ashuanipi Lake, SE of Wabush, on January 7th, 1948.

Hi Sid

What is the registration on that other beaver in the background at squaw Lake? Other than IUU.
