TC Canada Logbook format

Hi
I am currently an AME working in UAE for the last five years. I am now considering migrating to Canada and from the research I have done, doing the aircraft mechanics online course is the fastest way to go about getting an AME-M license.

The question I had was would my international experience be considered towards the 48 months experience required by Transport Canada? Also is there any particular approved format for the experience logbook to be filled?
