Experience:
Aircraft Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Requirements
Transport Canada Certified AME License
Have signing Authority is a must
Must be able to legally work in Canada
Safety oriented
Flexible to varying work schedule
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Are a team player
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs
Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Conducting planned and unplanned maintenance procedures on our fleet of aircraft in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and company procedures
Perform and document inspection of engines, structural, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Troubleshoot structural, mechanical, hydraulic and engines to identify and repair defects
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, instructions, etc.
Completion of paperwork – completely and accurately.
Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment
Other duties as assigned.
Technical
Complete basic inspection tasks
Inspection of aircraft structures in accordance with Service Bulletins, AD’s and aircraft manuals
Inspection and assessment of corrosion and damage to aircraft structures
Complete all general repairs
Source appropriate calibrated tooling for the jobs
Safety
Applying safe work practices in all job duties, including:
Wearing all appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment)
Maintaining good housekeeping and cleanliness standards
Understanding and applying safe handling practices with the aircraft
REQUIREMENTS
Certification & Experience
Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License and minimum 1-year experience
Skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Willing to take initiative
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to learn and understand the organizational systems and work flow
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Good oral and written communication skills
Able to effectively train apprentices
Ability to accept constructive criticism
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Internet
Willing to pursue additional company training as required
HOURS OF WORK
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
Flexibility to work any type of shift
