Hi, I’m wondering how much would it cost to replace an existing small efis ( dynon ) instrument with a new one in the same spot . What do avionics shops charge nowadays?
Thanks

How long is a piece of string?
How can you tell which one is the pilot when you walk into a bar?....Don't worry he will come up and tell you.
Re: How much to install new instrument
Roughly 95-125 CAD/hour + tax
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Just do it yourself! How hard can it be? The hole is already there, so just fill it with the new box. If you’re really lucky, the wiring harness from the old one will fit the new, so you can probably be done in about 30 minutes.
