Are u allowed to us an e6b on your phone during test

No, as you're asked to turn off your phone and hand it to the invigilator. I've ended up just leaving it in the car. You can use a standard E6B, CR-3 or CX-3. Some TC exam places have extras laying around that you could borrow but don't walk in thinking there would be one waiting for you. Bring a plotting ruler, compass, calculator (not needed if you use a CX-3), and pencils/eraser, TC documents and logbook depending on what you're writing and ID. Payment options too, usually they accept cards, but double check when you call them.

Most scientific calculators are not allowed either.
